Holiday Inn Express San Francisco Airport North By Ihg, South San Francisco

I had to come to this hotel after a fight, feeling sad, and found the rooms very clean and fresh as expected, although the decor was a bit underwhelming. The queen size bed was a nice touch, providing a comfortable stay. However, the surrounding area was unpleasant due to the presence of drug users and homeless people 24/7.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though spacious, were not ideal due to noise and proximity to garbage bins. The service had its shortcomings with additional charges and lack of assistance. The location, while convenient next to the airport, was noisy. The dining options were decent but could use improvement.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was disappointed to find the sofa bed in my room unmade with no pillows or sheets available. The strong cigarette smell in the room, affecting even the towels and blankets, was quite off-putting. Additionally, the TV didn't work, and there was a lack of toilet paper. On a positive note, the room did have a decent coffee maker.
